I deliberatly had a moan about the Disney threads being flooded by spam from Blubonnet and Mwynn, who seem to be sharing accounts. Same reason I got banned orignally.

I ended the post with "attention mods: VPN is a thing. I WILL BE BACK"

Except I can't be bothered now, the forum is rubbish.

The mods are the biggest problem for me.

I can argue with any troller or block a user if I want to... but the bans are a pain in the proverbial.

At least my ban was for two weeks this time, Dallywhitty got three months!

From what I understand, the mods are generally of a right-wing persuasion, especially Dr Svet, and that's American right-wing, so they tend to come down hard on posts that plead for a bit of tolerance.

I don't know about their politics, but I'm generally a centrist.

Sometimes I lean left, sometimes right, depending on the topic.

I don't trust anyone who deals in extremes.

My sense of humour is where they usually pounce on me.

I expect the mods can barely spell irony or satire let alone understand it.

These days I tend to lurk and only post occasionally over there. There's some loons , the current Opera 4K thread is has pages of arguments over tiny framing differences. i've recently turned 60 and far too old to get involved arguing over movies these days

I only post occasionally, sometimes in the threads on Eureka and 88 Films or "What have you seen?"
I don't understand why there are huge images/gifs in every one of those posts....
