It takes about 30 seconds to now start a new Hotmail acount :) they have sped it up bigtime, thats now the easiest way by a mile. I dont even enter anthing in the boxes for details, just press the keyboard a few times. Takes less than 30 seconds, cracking :) only thing you have to do any thought nehind is the password, as you have to enter it 2 times and pressing the keyboard 2 times in a row doesnt work :D

Sounds good. My way is even quicker though ;) .

No need to create a new account period, keep re-using the same account as many times as you like. The CD WOW e-mail checker isn't very intelligent, all it does is check for "unique" e-mail accounts not variants on the same address. Also as it's the same account it all goes to the same e-mail account making that part easier too.

The USA Combos are probably still cheaper but I've added 3 new £1 Voucher Codes to the usual link.

The first is number 5 in the Main section, the other 2 are in the Misc section under numbers 3 and 4, number 5 here is the old Sony Style one which "appears" to be working again.

This will allow £2 off for DVDs and £1.60 off for CDs at CD WOW UK.

Have you guys noticed CD WOW have a UK Returns FREEPOST address again? Great!

p.s - Thread renamed to focus on e-tailor discussion in general, so the other two threads can be for Bargains and not get cluttered.

Freepost is great :)

Regarding the CDWOW vouchers, the 2$ ones never seem to work for me anymore, I fill in the forum and never get any email? someone try it and tell me if you get one, I hagve tried the usual methods and they just do not work for me anymore, I want that extra £1 off things :D

Ahh forget it, they now take a few hours to get to me, they always used to come instantly, thigs change :)

I did only minutes ago and it came through fine. It takes about 20 minutes to arrive for me. Have you tried both $2 code pages? I presume you get the usual "Thanks you'll receive a voucher shortly" message? If you're not getting that it hasn't worked.

Without the extra $2 you may as well go the UK Combo route, not always though.

nah they are working, just can take 2 hours for them to get to me now, odd, but hell its worth the wait to save a quid :)

I've tried getting $ vouchers and they don't work any more either.

As I said above, wait and obviously do not use the same email addy again. They do work, just wait, may be 20 mins, may be a few hours, may even be a day, but they work. Also check your spam folders, they go straight in them sometimes.

I find some never come through but only 1 in 10.

I always get every single email and I tend to do 20-30 at a time.

I always make sure I have 3 saved up just in case. It's worth having some backed up. One day the link will stop working, it's happened before (but not for yonks now).

Why would you want any?

The $ Link / combo will be cheaper.

Well does anyone have any $ vouchers then?
Because I keep trying for vouchers to sent to my orange account and get nothing :(

:)

Dont use Orange then :D

Takes me 30 seconds to make a new Hotmail account, send it to that and never use that again. 30 seconds for £1 is good to me.

Even if that doesnot work, the $2/8 link knocks them way down anyway.

What is your Orange e-mail address again? I use my Freeserve account still which is owned by Orange so will be exactly the same. It works for me.

Do you want my £1 codes Grim? I'll never use them.
romerojpg wrote:Dont use Orange then :D
Like I said my Orange account works fine. It's much, much quicker than Hotmail accounts too. You can get infinite vouchers using the same e-mail account.

Yeah Romero is right even without codes the $2-8 link should be still cheaper than £2 off using the UK site.

I think my freeserve/orange email was something like "grim_tales@gifford4.freeserve.co.uk" Brad. :) I dont know my password though so cant access it, my fsmail account isnt the same of course.

Assumng the link knocks off more than $2. Sometimes it only discounts $2 = £1 anyway :)

If you have any £1 codes that'd be nice, thanks :)

How do you know you're not getting the vouchers if you cannot login? If you've forgotten the password just reset it. There is a link to click.

Hmmm. It's "orange.net" now so would be different anyway, and I dont use Orange mobile :? It keeps asking me for my orange mobile number when I click the link.
:)

Just bloody sign up for a bloody HOTMAIL account! jees! takes 30 seconds! the amount of time you have spent writing on this thread you could have 20 $2 vouchers by now.

Cool thanks Salty.

I've only asked for one voucher just in case it is a one off and CD WOW get particularly fussy and cancel people who ask for more.
£3 off (£2 code + £1 link) should mean the UK site is cheaper than the USA site (overall). Which hasn't been the case for sometime now.

FYI it says:

HURRY! YOU ONLY HAVE 48 HOURS TO REDEEM YOUR VOUCHER - Voucher expires midnight 10th November 2007

If the vouchers continue to work after the 10th I'll update e-tailors thread. If they don't there's no point.
