You remind me of Cheung Man and her fake leg in Claws of Steel:

Ouch, if I tried a leg lift like that I'd be carted off to casualty.
Actually I used to be not too bad, but injuries have turned me weak-as-a-kitten.
I can still kick forward pretty high, but side kicks are a no-no.
I actually expected Shen to be Chinese... you said Shen was your real name so I put two and two together and came up with five as usual. 8)
And don't worry about your photo being publicized... there's plenty jokers here but no creeps (Yi-Long aside).

Cat-brain smoothies? Puppydog-sandwiches? Preposterous.
That kid next door got everything he deserved though.
Shen, can you perform feats like the splits in the photo without warming up, or do you at least need to get limber?

Okay, I'm taking the sig away now.

And of course I wasn't offended. I thought it was funny.
And Shen, only one thing to say . . . OUCH!

nah, no need to limber up...my joints are so loose they dislocate all the time and i have pretty much no msucles working around my joints, realying fully on the main muscles, so the my muscles/ligaments are really lax

You don't mind if I carry that phrase in my sig then, do you?

So, do you find that this constant dislocation ever comes in handy, as it does for Mel Gibson in
Lethal Weapon?

uhm yes and no lol, yes becuase ican do cool stuff and no becusae they hurt all the time, and now the doctors think they want to operate, cant walk at the moment without crutches...but ican still stretch in these ways lol

Really? Ouch. Pretty severe case of no pain, no gain.

Gawd... Shen must be awesome at all that kamasutra stuff...
I was the same btw, as in very very flexible, to a point where my sifu would put me in the splits, then push my head to the ground, me still not having a problem with that, and him then standing on top of my back...

Sadly, a ripped muscle (from dropping into a full split while I hadnt bothered stretching or practicing for about 6 months orso) kinda put an end to all the fun, although at the moment I'm almost back in the full splits, with coming thursday being the deadline as I then have to do it for a picture at school... (standing split)

That's a shame. How long have you been invalid? Is it temporary? I hope.

Must be odd going from being able to do splits etc.. to not, you must get so used to it and then wham no more
I want to know what it says on the wall behind you Shen? is that wallpaper? or writing
I think a lot of people put their images online for a short time, and really I have seen many faces on the net from this site over the years. A lot of people seem to be very nice when you see them and you always get that image in your head of what you think they look like, its maybe nice not to see some people as they may shatter your imagination of who they are

some people I have talked to on the net for 4 years + now and I still have no clue what they look like, which isnt a bad thing I guess.

I remember at the old Bullets I used to think people looked like their avatars.

haha awesome!! i like you knetan..extreme and nice hair
@romero: it meant something like happiness or something, i dunno i painted over it now lol, and i can still do the splits and stuff, i stretch everynight regardless it sucks if the muscles become lazy and then i start to feel lazy lol
@mark: i will always have this, and i always have had trouble, in periods with bad pain and stuff, just got home from physio, dont like it there tho hehe.
@yi: lol! sensai used to do this also (apart from standing on my back since my spine would probably snap lol), i can still do it, his othre favourite was to get me sitting with my knees bent and feet together (almost crossed legged) then standing on my knees so they are flat to the ground. loved the stretching in karate, but it was just too rough for my joints to handle with the fighting. but i can still stretch to the extreme, my favourite stretch is the scissor splits and then pulling the back leg up so my foot touches my side, great for stretching the front muscles in your legs
