As long as they bring back FREEPOST returns I will be happy!

Stomp is awesome. They release cult films in NTSC when they can't do a proper PAL transfer.

Calm down dude.

That is the least to worry about. A new company often means big changes, namely a strong possibility of no or less vouchers (especially CD WOW ignoring their voucher rules).

Good Times

CD WOW Rock!
I hope it means they'll support HD Discs.

If they do support HD discs, they wont be cheap if there are no vouchers. Hence a total waste of time using them anymore.

I was only saying vouchers may go not that they would. CD WOW are still good value without vouchers anyway, just not as cheap.

The Last King of Scotland UK R2 is £3.94 from CD WOW USA (voucher + link).
They probably cannot get hold of it though but I'll give it a shot. I'm guessing a HD release is way off. For that price there's no need to risk dodgy eBay versions.

Mmm i still haven't recieved my boxset. They said it was despatched to me, but the online status still says it is pending despatch and hasn't changed since 14 August!
I have emailed them 4 times now, got a reply back, asking for the despatch address, when i passed it, haven't recieved an email for 3 days

Me too. I've been waiting since the 17th of August for Inland Empire which has said "Pending Dispatch" for the past 2 weeks.
The fact is CD WOW cannot get hold of new stock. I'm not bothering with CD WOW after this one for the time being, unless it's old stock. To make matters worse CD WOW are still listing Inland Empire as if they have it in stock when they blatantly do not.
p.s - My Last King of Scotland arrived in two days.

. It arrived the other day, finely. I'm still being very cautious about using CD WOW for new releases though.

Shall I let your stew.... !

, nah perfectly innocent, over @ dvdtimes forum, a member said that when he spoke to the guys over @ cd-wow, they have a problem with the online status system, therefore they just fixed it, showing despatch on a few of our orders

Oh thanks. Pity the CD WOW guy didn't also admit they have a "getting hold of stock" problem too.

Use the vouchers and links and they are even cheaper remember

Posted: 19 Sep 2007, 17:56
by grim_tales
Yeah but Romero those are so cheap anyway I'm not sure it would even accept the discount.
Posted: 19 Sep 2007, 18:02

It does accept a discount, I have just done it
You can get dvds for free if they are cheap. I never done that, but many people do it, the last title cheap enough to get Free was Saturday Night Fever, people were stokcing up on other forums

I at least pay them something I guess.
