Little Britain - new series (BBC1)

Did anyone see this?
It definitely has a darker, nastier tone to it I think, so its' harder to watch but still very funny.
The first series was just bonkers.
There are some familliar sketches - Vicky Pollard, the awful Marjorie Dawes (who was never likeable in Series 1) and Lou and Andy, but some new faces are quite shocking and dark - as well as funny.
From the unashamedly bigoted old ladies at the fete, to, in one sketch, one of the most grotesque visual gags I've ever seen (I'm not easily shocked), that was horrible.

Series 2 is no where near as good as the first series IMO.... I was quite let down by the second series, plus they got rid of my favourite character

Who was your fave character?
I loved the crap hypnotist and the Scottish dude from Series 1!
"If you asked me on Monday I'd say.. yes..
"If you asked me on Tuesday I'd say.. Yeeeessss!"

:D:D
The change in tone is jarring, more League of Gentlemen than The Fast Show, if that makes sense

Scottish dude was my funniest... but he's not in Series 2 at all
Just hope he's in the Live Show which i'm going to see next November

Bibty anyone ??:P
Quite frankly 'bibty' is the most funniest sickest sketch I've seen.
The hypnotist is in series 2 Grim.
My fav character from series 1 is the bloke who fancies his mates Gran...

That "Bitty" sketch made me LMAO but really cringe at the same time

I liked the sketch about the guy who was REALLY specific in the girl he wanted to meet (has to be called Linda Williams, must have shoulder length hair, etc)

Ha, that dude who is so specific in what he wants is very funny, wait until the last episode... you will piss yoursef!

How many episodes are there in the series?
If this LB is slightly cut for BBC1, God knows what was removed!

They only did 6 eps for the series but will be back for a third - Yay!
From what I gather they had to edit some of the swear words for BBC1. Though I cant see the point of doing that.

Did anyone see it the week before last (I think?) I loved the drug rehabililation sketch, where the old lady wanders in but has got the wrong class, so the guy shouts at her comparing her to crap films and stuff
'You're a junkie, you're scum!! YOU'RE "LAUREL AND HARDY"THE CARTOON!! YOU'RE "GREASE 2"!!! YOU'RE KELLOG'S BANANA BUBBLES!!!'
LMFAO
The Prime Minister's Assistant is funny too. I loved the sketch this week when Andy says he wants to go to France

Hillarious series, my favourite sketch was the invalid conning his mate, "Yeah I know".
Does the gay aide who hits on Prime Minister Giles still in S2? They've only aired S1 down here thus far.

Yeah the Prime Ministers' aide in S2, I love that sketch too.
Wait until the last ep of S2 (if it airs in NZ, or get the DVD). You will piss yourself!

I also love the dude who is really specific in what he wants when he goes in the shop.
