Probably, but I still like the look of it!

Not really Holwoodised much at all, still looks gritty (but not shot on shit DV this time!) and pretty damn depressing to be honest, very effective trailer i think and I know its going to be very violent too from some of the early footage on the net last year.

Yeah, but they've already managed to work Americans into the cast, and those F/X shots look more like something from Jerry Bruckheimer.

They have a little more cash, its still far from a BIG film, so anything you see in the film is still low budget.

The cast who cares where they are from? (I dont) its still set in the UK and has mostly UK cast and the reasons for americans being in the film make a lot of sense, most the UK was wiped out and the country has to be re-populated, obviously they need people from somewhere and America is the most powerful country in the world and its logical they would survive the appolalypse :)

Hell as long as its good I dont mind, and its probibly not going to have a dodgy last 3rd like 28 Days Later thats for sure :D as much as I like 28 Days Later that finale gets on my tits still as its dumb as a bag of spanners to be honest.

Why is the finale of 28 Days Later dumb?

I and many other people hate it, the whole looney soldiers doing things that are so unreal is just iognraont. I loved it until the soliders started going silly, it just felt like they ran out of ideas and said hey stick in some soldiers so stupid they couldnt make a microwave meal.

What's unreal?

Soldiers aren't perfect human beings.

Many of them are loud-mouth thugs kept on a leash.

If a bunch of laddish squaddies think there's only two females left in the country they're gonna do whatever it takes to satisfy their needs (and repopulate in the process).

That's the plan: business AND pleasure in one.

Cillian Murphy's moral voice is in the way so they need to get rid of him.

What's dumb exactly?

heres the international trailer, longer and more 'spoilerific' footage

to be honest i found 28 days later a dissapointment, despite the grandness of the opening, it really did run out of steam towards the end

however, i'm actually looking forward to its sequel

Slightly (the dreadful helicopter vs infected massacre was way out of place) but not to such an extreme extent.

Surprisingly decent sequel - I'd give it a 4/5...

Reviews have been good so hopefully I won't be disappointed.

I hope that the 3rd act doesn't suck like in the first film.
