Masters of Cinema DVDs for £8.99 (Kwaidan & Metropolis) here:

http://www.blahdvd.com/Blah/Promotion_D ... 0000000965

* Metropolis UK R2 2 Disc SE (or Madman R4) are the definitive versions worldwide. The R1 Kino SE is almost identical but squeezes it all on to 1 DVD. The new UK R2 SE is identical to the old SE except it is now part of the MOC range and has an extra 28 page booklet.
* Kwaidan UK R2 is considered by some/many to be the definitive version as shown in the Bullets comparison, it usually goes for over a tenner. Comparison here:

BlahDVD offer free shipping worldwide (I think).

Same price at 101CD. Wouldn't spend a penny at Blah.

Thanks.

I've had good service at both except in the past I've found 101CD very slow. I have had fine service since though but find BlahDVD better.

The 101CD layout looks almost identical to BlahDVD, there contact telephone number is almost identical too. I'd guess they're the same company. I've seen it before. Same postal address too, yep they're the same company. If you've had trouble with BlahDVD it will just've been bad luck, over 101CD.

EDIT: Not only are they the same company the T&Cs for 101CD says:

"101cd.com is owned and operated by Blah Ltd. P.O. Box 175, Jersey, JE4 9RG."

You may as well go to the source and forget 101CD. It's strange they're maintaining two sites.

Blah = Splash
Didn't realise they now owned 101CD, not used them for years anyway.

Interesting. I do remember hearing something about that now you mention it. I did have good Splash service but then like everyone else also later had bad experience.

Maybe they've learnt there lesson. I've not had bad experience with BlahDVD. Yi-Long has had good service too.

No Grim is exactly right with what he says. He already said some are cheaper at CD WOW and we both said CD WOW don't list all the titles at BlahDVD so good luck trying to get them ;)

WTF! Blah have completely removed all references to HD-DVD from their site. It seems a bit soon.

Although it seems "direct links" still work:

There's the odd Warner one but the rest are EIV. Most of the discs in the Play and HMV sales are EIV too.
