Dude, have been following this project since its early stages. The retitled it from "A Hope" to "CJ7" now.

Looks promising. I'd definitely be willing to give that go despite my unfavourable opinion of KFH.

Not sure about this one yet. Ofcourse it's Stephen Chow, so it will be pretty good, but it looks very much like he went 'Flubber' on us
I wonder why the trailer is in mandarin...

He says that Chow is barely in it. I already had that feeling when I watched "Kung Fu Hustle" which I still consider as one of Chow's weakest films.

So what's so wrong with preferring the director's chair to being in front of the camera? People get older and they gradually change.

Nothing really. But its another thing if you make it look like you're all over the movie, when you're actually not and use your star power as an actor.

I wasnt saying anyone should. Just saying they got the review up, which might be interesting to read
4/5 score sounds hopefull though. Plus, IGN is not just 1 guy or girl, but many people, so I'm sure some are complete idiots, where as others could have simular taste as 'us'.
TBH, I dont follow 1 review anyway, but usually just see what many people have to say about it, be it in reviews and on forums etc.
Cant say this movie seems like great fun to me, but maybe my kids will one day enjoy it alot and I'll be there next to them, also laughing my ass off. Who knows!?

I watched it this weekend and i wasnt very impressed, its an ok kiddy movie and i expect something more from hk's biggest movie talent.

Arrived yesterday and me and the mrs watched this last night. Funny little film and i guess i enjoyed it but i cant say i loved it.
A couple of colleagues at work want to borrow it after being blown away by KFH and i just dont think they will
get a lot of the humour in this.
I have concerns how the general western viewing public will find this after Kung Fu hustle.
