It was a countdown of the 100 Best cartoons as voted for by the "cartoon viewing public"... now, most often these polls are shite and rigged anyway, but here's the list - see if you agree with it!

Some fine choices there, but South Park at No.3 ahead of timeless classic The Looney Tunes? WTF?
And why have individual spots for Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck but place Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies unceremoniously in one lump (on a higher plane?) Kudos for the inclusion of the sublime Spirited Away, was Miyazaki's other work mentioned? I doubt it.
And shite like 2DTV (which dates really fast by its very nature) above Disney classic Snow White???

Cant complain with some others though, Tintin, Dangermouse, Ninja Turtles all rock(ed) Pink Panther is good too

Glad The Nightmare Before Christmas is there, although it isn't really a cartoon, it is a stop motion animation... but I'm being picky.

I hated Felix the Cat though (he has the worst laugh in cartoon history) :x

Not to mention so many great anime shows...?!?

Spider-Man animated series (probably its the 90's one, but might be the original) they were both good.

Batman Animated series was cool too I admit. Animaniacs (its not there) was good fun due to its surreal, wacky humour IMO.

Invader Zim shouldve been in there.. top 5 at least... one of the greatest non fox cartoon series ever created!

Can't argue with these being tops: The Simpsons (new) and Tom and Jerry (classic). They are the best. But the list is still wierd - like every Ch4 100 greatest list. Look how low some of the classic Disneys are. Dumbo for e.g. And South Park is cheap shite with crappy voicework. You should have to have a 3-figure I.Q before getting to vote on any of these programmes.

Yeah, thats what I thought too, and The Incredibles at 9??? Shrek (which I admit I love as its hilarious) above Golden Era Disney (Pinocchio, Dumbo). WTF?

I think the problem with these polls is people only tend to vote for either:
1) The first thing they saw
2) The last thing they saw, which explains crap like South Park etc up in the upper reaches.

Anyway, if you mean fave batman series: don't really know. liked them all actually. I liked the first series (92?) where it was mainly about batman... but I also like that later batman shows where there were batgirl, robin, nightwing etc etc...

there's an even newer show out now I believe, but I've only seen 1 episode. Didnt like it as much as the Animated series, as it seemd a bit more aimed at kids...
I also quite liked Batman Beyond.

Didnt really care much for the Superman animated series though...
neither did I really like the Justice League crap...

fave episode: havent watched them all, plus it's been way too long ago since I watched the shows, as it doesnt get broadcast anymore
So really cant tell ya...

fave cartoon of all time!? Hmm.... probably some anime, like Hajime no Ippo, or naruto, or whatever. American cartoons I liked are Batman, Simpsons ofcourse, and Top Cat...
Plus the Loony Toons stuff ofcourse...
