Some of you may have read about this already, but for those that haven't:

Honda is backing the first ever live TV advert to be shown on UK TV. If you have recently been seeing adverts featuring skydivers talking about the sport, with the end line "Difficult is worth doing", then those are Honda's teaser adverts for a whole series of ads, including the one tonight.

The ad tonight will feature a group of 19 (I think) skydivers, doing a skydive in Madrid and making specific formations as they fall. I think they are going to be spelling out the word Honda.

There is not going to be any delay in the broadcast, so it will be truely live, not broadcast "as live".

As a skydiver myself, and as I want to publicise the sport more, I thought I'd let you lot know and I hope you watch!

If the weather in Madrid is bad and they can't actually do the dive, then they have recorded practice jumps to show instead. Fingers crossed the weather will be ok!!

It sounds cool, thanks.

I'll be watching Indy 4 by that point though.

Well, the ad has been and gone. From a skydivers point of view it was awesome. Thought they were going to run out of altitude at one point, but they got there! Nice one to Honda!!

Would be nice to hear what non-skydivers thought of it? If any of you saw it!!

I wish I'd stayed in and seen it. Indy 4 was mostly utter rubbish:
