Watched the first two episodes of season 5. Did anybody else watch 'em. This is becoming one weird show I can tell ya. But awesome nonetheless.

Yep, it was marvellous. I really liked the opening with Dr. Marvin Candle. I can't wait to see the smoke monster again!

I'm still hooked. My favorite part of the two-part premiere was the cameo by Michelle Rodriguez: "Libby says hi"

Do you guys think that Eloise might be Faraday's mother? You know who, the old lady with the white hair who Desmond met in season 3. Didn't Faraday name the white rat in his maze after his mother? And then the girl in 1954 with the rifle is called Ellie and Faraday tells her that she seemed familiar. Widmore has funded all of Faraday's research and we now know that he has been on the island as a young man. So could it be that Ellie and Widmore are the parents of Faraday?

What do you think?

Well I presumed that the woman Desmond was looking for would turn out to be that old one yup, interesting theory on the other stuff.

Am I right in thinking that one of the objects Richard Alpert put on the table for young Locke last season will have been the compass that Locke gave him last episode, that Alpert had previously given him :D hahaha. Ohhh time travel, what are you like.

LD - yes, I've been thinking along the same lines as you, although I'm not sure about your Faraday's dad theory. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. I liked this past episode for the many answers it gave, but it somehow isn't quite as exciting as it used to be . . . at least not yet.

That's because they're giving answers now, back in seasons 1 & 2 when they kept piling on the mysteries and intrigue, it was dead exciting because we had no idea what was going on. Still dead good though!

RE: Season 5: Episode 4 - The Prince
Alright, considering the strong storytelling of this episode and the one before that, this is about to become the best "Lost"-season of 'em all.

Episode 5 - 4/5
Yep. this is probably the best season, yet!

Yay, now we know what the smoke monster is guarding!

The reason its turning into the best season yet is because its not taking forever to go anywhere with the story. Thats a very good thing in my opinion, as now Lost has a faster pace, its much more interesting.

I agree IM.

Episode 6 - 316 - 4/5
OK, I'm pretty sure that Ben has killed Penelopé in this episode. Sayid ended up on that flight, because he is escorted back to Iraq (like Kate was escorted back to the USA, which makes the flight a step more similar to the Oceanic815 flight). The reason he is going to India is because it is a connecting flight.

Possible? Any other ideas?

Hmmm, a small list that counts the facts which kinda recreate Oceanic 815:
Dead Locke/ with shoes = Christian Shepard
Guitar with Hugo = Charlie
Maybe pregnant Kate = Claire
Jin's ring = Jin
Letter in pocket = Sawyer
Sayid the fugitive = Kate the fugitive
Marshal Lady = Kate's marshal

What I don't get is, dead Locke is meant to take dead Christian's place, but what about living disabled Locke lol, surely it would have made more sense just for him to have got on the plane :?

LOL, that's true. Maybe they have enough similarities on-board and need some in the cargo hold.

The statue :D It appears to be holding an ankh in its right hand. I hope we get to see the front of it sometime.

Episode 11 - 4/5
Great ending. This episode raised some questions, though (again).

When Miles speaks to Hurley about time travel, how came he knew that Ben actually turned a wheel.
If the O6 never went back to the island, it means that Ben would never have become EVIL Ben. If Jack had saved him as a child, he might would have remained the nice little boy and the purge might never have happened.

Cool ending, just what goes on inside that mysterious temple? :D

Well, Richard said that Ben is never going to be the same again. So maybe it is some secret child porn studio.

How amazing was last night's episode!!

Locke 2.0 rules.

What the hell was that monster-summoning method lmao

I wonder where the monster comes from before it leaves the holes in the slab.
