I e-mailed Liberation Entertainment about the region coding on the US BD, and they've just replied and said it's ABC, wahey.

I enjoyed this a lot too (though I found the second act almost impossible to enjoy!!). Carax is a very challenging Director for me - his part had the feel of a bad Terry Gilliam movie. Having said that I do love Les Amants du Pont-Neuf
Michel Gondry's story was one of the best short films I've ever seen, if not the best. An exquisitely acted piece of beautiful film making, that's burned into my conscience
The Joon Ho Bong part was also very very good - so good it's already been ripped of a bit in the UK movie 'The Bunny And The Bull'
