That article goes against every other I have real, so it sound sounds like they made a lot of that up. Liam was only asked a few weeks ago is he was doing it, he said yes on camera etc.. and spoke why. I believe that over that article thats for sure. The TV show has the go ahead as well, that says it all.

Brian Mills' daughter gets kidnapped by Heihachi Mishima, and is forced to be a fluffer for all the Tekken contestants pre-fight. Mills teams up with Jin Kazama and enter the Iron Fist Tournament.....he promises Heihachi: "I will Find You. I Will Kill You."

The link you gave shows the film as uncut; just the trailer is cut.

Click on the link in the pink box, it sounds to me as if theyre saying the film is cut Theyre saying the filmmakers made cuts, not the BBFC.

Yes, the distributors pre-cut the film upon BBFC advice after a rough cut screening. Not an uncommon occurance these days.

Taken 2 just became the Robocop 3 of the series, and theres only 2 in it!!

Interesting to see which version will be released elsewhere. The original was heavily cut for pg-13 in the US, and for 15 in the UK, but screened uncut in many other countries like Finland. US and UK only got that version on DVD/BD.

The whole thing in the US was ridiculous, though - a badass action thriller themed with human trafficking and sex trade is not a "pg-13 film" even if you censored the explicit violence. In mainland Europe they were wiser and marketed it as the adults' movie that it was.

But now they've made a sequel for 12 year olds At least in the UK.

The PG-13 is too lucrative in the USA and that influences commercial decision. I would expect some kind of uncut or unrated Blu Ray at a later date.

Yes, this is an exploitation film. The violence is the selling point. Toning it down seems to defeat the one purpose the film has for existing in the first place.
