Giftpia - recommended for an RPG novice?

I saw info about this game on Play, it looks quite quirky and fun. :mrgreen: I'm not used to RPGs much (beyond the Pokémon GB games or PC Discworld 
) and I haven't even played them for years.
Was wondering whether to check it out because I'd like to try new sorts of games, I've never played Zelda et al though
