5. Bullet in the Head vs Once a Thief - lame comedy in Once a Thief spoilt it. Bullet in The Head = brutal, harrowing classic.

6. Hard Boiled vs Hard Target - HT is good for a US actioner but Hard Boiled beats it hands down.

ABT2 is totally underrated, The Killer is...

ABT2 is better than ABT but neither are all that good. Take the action away and you've got nothing.

The Killer is the best Hong Kong movie ever made.

A Better Tomorrow is the second best Hong Kong movie ever made.

A Better Tomorrow II is ok. Has some great scenes.

Kinda sad that Heroes Shed No Tears was against ABT. Tears is an excellent film.

Likewise with Hard Boiled. Take the action away, and it is pretty much forgettable. But the action IS there, and it IS awesome.

The Killer wouldn't even make it into my top 100 movies TBH.

My favourite Woo movie is and probably always will be Hard Boiled. It's not perfect, but as an action-flick, it comes pretty goddamn close.

Not gonna bother with the whole brackets thing, cause the system is flawed in a way that good movies are cast against other good movies thus dropping one of them early on, while some OK movies are cast against other OK movies and survive.

I guess but the story holds up much better. I found ABT annoying.
