I know that the remastered Mei Ah DVD has a brief scene involving Chin Kar-Lok's character cut out that is intact in the original Mei Ah release.

The question is: Which is R. Lam's preferred version? Was the cut in the new DVD intentional or did they just happen to use a shorter cut for the new DVD?
