Comparing the 2002 Japanese DVD edition with 2025's Blu-ray. Original release is identical to an early Ghibli title, and offers an equally stunning jacket. Blu-ray on par with others that came before, and its slipcase (digipak) is great, though there are details I'd like to add. You're also given a plastic sheet to store the item if purchased new, something fans who import have come to adore. They removed the finale's vocals, replacing it with BGM, but offer aforementioned track on the main menu as a selectable option. Wish they were more creative with the sleeve & disc art, but repeated imagery shouldn't come as a surprise.
