Comparison between 2015's Archival box, and Blu-ray's 2019 reissue. Seeing the original with it's altered picture and animation in such a grand state is an Eva fan's dream come true (Blu-ray), making you wish they released aforementioned portion as a standalone Digipak. Archival's image obviously lacks a restoration, but it'll sear a place in your brain nonetheless- unrestored 4K, no less.
