Examples from the 2012 Japanese Blu-ray. Despite identical studios, Bloodlust can be considered the lesser of the two titles. While both protagonist share brief encounters with their respective villains, I'd argue Ninja Scroll is the more satisfying of the two, whose cast of demons seem better developed, and whose animation sequences offer greater choreography than that of D & company. Dub is included. Unlike Carmilla & Meier however, across the board, Ninja Scroll sounds perfectly average; e.g. Princess Mononoke (not counting Keith David of course).
