what's the odds on cd-wow honouring the glitch in their system? very doubtful i'd say. And Grim some of these titles would fetch decent cash on ebay so bloody order some! nothing to lose imo.

The Voucher combos are a glitch, they have always honored all the Free dvds I have ordered. A they do many others on many forums as well, until the stocks gone that is. Ussually if you spot such freebies its best not to tell the world instantly, or you may not get anything, wait a day or two until it ships and your gonna get it.

OObviously its dodgy, they made mistakes and its a simple as that. Same when you do the vouchers combos and get em for free, its wrong and says dont do it. But shit happens and some still go for it.

You take your chances.

Finding free stuff is my way, its not hard there are many forums telling us about it out there, where do you think any links come from, someone stumbles one em and they spread

CDwow KNOW about vouchers and combos being wrongly used, they do not care or would have stopped em years ago.

Many forums do not talk openly about em even, but contact the right guys and they can fill you in.

I only recognise a few of those so have little idea what would sell.

Is that Xena Warrior Princess: Season 4 - The full 9 disc box set? If so you could make a packet with that on eBay. If it is I'll pick one up. Any ideas what versions the Police Story 1 and 2 box set is?

The only titles that interest me to actually own are Bad Education and Natural Born Killers, and I own both of those.

Exactly!

Their Terms and Conditions are very clear about using vouchers etc... BUT CD WOW let them slip through as lets face it it's made them one of the biggest e-tailors on the net. Also unlike Amazon CD WOW don't ever ban you. You've got nothing to lose by trying.

If it's on DVD Forums it's likely to be at least semi legit. We all know how tough they are.

The chances of getting any for free now are none, too many people spread it openly on the net. Not a chance in hell of getting a thing, hence why I rarley even talk about these things until I have the dvds myself.

This thread should have been merged with the other cdwow thread man, seperate threads not needed

its not like it is anything new free ones have been on the old cdwow thread many times.

Xena does not sell well at all, your wasting your time if you are doing it for cash alone. You may make a pound or two at most from them.

Get em becuase you want them, not to make cash as hell none will make you much cash at all.

There isn't anything I'd want to keep. I already own A Tale of Two Sisters, Bad Education and Natural Born Killers.

You will, but postage will be well over £2 and then add in fees and your looking at having to make at least £3 to make profits, but you would get more than you paid thats for sure

they just never seem to sell well on Ebay, I had the entire series sets, I never got more than £8 for any of them, they sold like shit and that was when they were newish.

Degen I was joking about ordering 10 of each

I ordered 7 total, most to see what they are like, none I really want or would pay for to start with.

No it won't. You can send many small box sets for around £1.80 and even if it's heavier it won't be much more than £3.50. A single disc DVD is 70p first class and 98p if it weighs over 250g (most are 125g). This is presuming if it fits through the letterbox.

If you sell it for £7.50 you're likely to make £4.50/£5 which is fine with me for a free DVD.

£8 each for five seasons is £40. I'd happily take £8 each. I sold 60 odd DVDs at £3 a pop (after costs) and made £180. On their own they're not worth much but together it's loads!

I was talking about the Xena set

its not light and not smal (unless they changed packaging), and the prices I sold em for were on release, now they are worth a lot less. Looked on Ebay earlier, you can barley give em away on there at the moment. Obviously you will not loose out still

There was nothing I wanted... but even so I would've felt bad about ripping a company off when they've obviously made a mistake. It's different (to me anyway) knocking off a few quid by combining vouchers but playing upon a glitch that gives away free discs seems wrong. I'm too honest... I know.

I see your point. I always send things back if I've been sent two (unless the company treats me badly) and even went back into a supermarket as I realised they'd given me £1 instead of 10p change, they had no idea. I sent a second copy of Once Upon a Time in China 3 back to SplashDVD and we all know how bad they turned out to be.

But you need to bare in mind CD WOW know EXACTLY what they're doing and dispatching. Like has already been said the T&Cs are very clear about using two vouchers at once but we all know they turn a complete blind eye to it. They're not stupid and if they consider it unacceptable to dispatch these goods they quite simply won't. If they're not bothered or even deliberately dispatch them so customers they're likely buy from them again why should we be bothered?

There was nothing I wanted either but unlike buying something to hopefully make cash on eBay getting something for free has no risk but possibly lots to gain.
