Russia's most glamorous female bodyguard killed!

Post by bradavon »

Russia's most famous female bodyguard Anna Loginova has been killed after failing to prevent her own Porsche being carjacked.

The glamorous 29-year-old died from head injuries after clinging on to the door handle of the Cheyenne and being dragged along the street at high speed as the car screeched away.

That comment makes no sense and why the 'grin'? The poor woman was murdered. Is that funny?

Only you would make such a puritanical, patronising and frankly ridiculous comment

p.s - The sentence makes perfect sense!

A sad story :( I know it was her job, but is a car worth risking your life over?

Nope but then she was a bodyguard so probably thought she could handle it. It's not as if you can say "is it worth risking your life" to a bodyguard, they put their life on the line all the time.

*Looks back at my post*

I don't get that one either. I think that I had been up for over 24hrs on that day.

Okay, I've been holding off on commenting here, but don't think I can do so any longer. I'm with Mark on this one. Is it puritanical? Hell, no. When any other person dies and it's written about in the news, all of these "RIP" and "So SAD!" threads are created. Yet this beautiful, strong woman dies defending her property, and "I'd tap that. . . except that it's dead" type of comments appear.

And Brad, please don't be upset or offended, but I'm sorry. Your comment
Who cares if it's made up, you couldn't make this shit up
really makes no sense whatsoever. Could you explain?

I'm not offended it's cool. You put your point in context which is more than Mark did.

It appears I need to explain my laughter in my original post. It had nothing to do with the fact she died (which is obviously sad) but (call me shallow) I found it amusing and cool that on the one had she is a cool hard bodyguard but at the same time she strips for men's magazines.

That's all. Maybe it's a male thing, which clearly Mark's so stuck up his puritanical and conservative backside I guess he missed it.

As to why I didn't say "Oh that's said RIP" or some other such bollocks which people mostly do is simple. I don't know the woman, I've never of her before and generally when people say such things they don't really mean it and are just trying to come across as all caring. Please! It's meaningless.

I was genuinely sad when Heath Ledger died. I've respected his work for a few years. This women I don't know from Adam.

I still don't get what's confusing about it? But okay:

It's the Daily Mirror who're known for making articles up, that's the first part explained. You couldn't make up the fact a woman was a kick ass bodyguard by day and model by night.

Better?

Yes, thanks. I'm not familiar with The Daily Mirror, so didn't know that.

And actually, after I wrote my response, I thought that in retrospect, this thread is probably an honest response, not hypocritical.

Fair enough. Mark knows it.

You seem to have a fair understanding of British culture so I presumed you knew of the Daily Mail, sorry about that.

Good points Brad. Of course it is sad she died though. The story sounds like something from a film.

Don't feel bad Monkey. I know of The Daily Mirror and Brad's comment still makes no sense -- even when explained. You'd have to have been psychic to understand what he "meant". When I clicked on that link I didn't see a piece of ass I saw a woman who's been murdered and that's what seperates myself and Brad. Apparently that makes me a "puritan". So be it. I'd rather be that than an insensitive jerk-off.

Funny how only you Mark saw it this way ;)

You're a conservative puritan for always taking the "patronising high horse" thinking you're better than everyone else. Maybe you missed others after me commented in much the same way but of course it's cool on this board to specifically pick on my comments

The story that she was a bodyguard but also a model seems rather incredible, not really that difficult to understand. I think what Mark is saying is that it cant take away the fact she's been murdered, she was killed just doing her job :(

I don't think I'm better than everyone else... I just believe in showing a certain amount of respect and sensitivity. I can make strong sexual jokes and even laugh at a bit of bad taste. But your original post implied that the story of the lady being murdered was somehow funny. Maybe if you'd explained it better I wouldn't have come to the wrong conclusion. Of course she's attractive. I didn't find Eva's or Grim's comments offensive because they were merely stating the obvious. Re-read you original post: it looks bad.

See not very hard to work out was it Mark.

That's Mark's problem not mine.

Only to you and 68 Monkey who at least explained herself. It was a quip not some thesis for University, jeez Louise.

Re-read yours you come across again as a very patronising twat.
