The remake. never seen the original.

PJ's King Kong was OK when I watched it in the cinema, nothing too special, but I'm just curious for the extended cut, plus I missed the first half hour of the movie...

I hope that you got that 3-discer for dirt cheap then.

I got the TC of the remake free with my 360 HD-DVD drive. I seriously doubt that I'll ever watch it TBH.

-Getting Any? (Uncut Edition) on Amazon.com (what do they mean by "uncut edition"?)
-Paprika Blu-Ray on Amazon.com (the french DVD is good, but the PAL speed-up is driving me nuts)
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

It's a roughly 4min extended cut featuring one or two new scenes and slightly ruder alternative scenes. IIRC the r2j DVD also has this cut of the film, every other release has the shorter cut.

The subs on the R1 Getting Any are extremely poorly timed. If the R3K is available, I'd get that one (probably a R2J port).

Hung, sign up for Quidco - gives you 10% cashback at YesAsia which always helps me justify their prices and it does add up.

It's just way of earning the commision e-tailers pay to affiliates less a £5 annual admin fee taken from the earnings. You sign up, visit the sites via Quidco then the transaction is tracked and eventually paid to you. It's a site geared towards the UK but there's no reason why you can't use it from outside the UK with payments via PayPal, YesAsia take PayPal in any case so you don't need to bother withdrawing the small amounts.

My Warlords DVD is taking a while :? If it takes much longer I may not use them as much which is a shame.

Well thats debatable :D some have not dropped in price at all yet.

They stop pressing many HD DVD's soon, no production and your left with ebay for second hand ones, no thanks.

The fire sales are happening NOW. Although yes, I could've waited on ordering from Amazon; but it's a big group order and we'll be splitting the freight, so it all evens out really.

I have barley paid over £5 for any latley, they aint gonna go far cheaper than that too soon, esspecially brand new releases.

I got Atonement AND American Gangster HD DVD's both for £8.70p delivered, cheaper than the standard dvds by a mile and no way they will ever go much lower than that.

Even Ebay they cost 3+ times that price, used!

I like many films :D many would suprise you I am sure, but most would not haha

Hey I have avoided everything about it :) so I will be suprised by what comes thats for sure, and the main war scene was shot down in down the road in Redcar :D

I was ready to go to that set with my camera :( but was gutted that something came up, then the film became big and everyone raved over the scenes shot in redcar! and I felt even more gutted :D grrr

Acctually I just noticed I paid £9.70 still a bargain for the pair :D bought so many latley with combos, doscount options and stuff it does get confusing.
also Got another copy of Atonement today as I did not cancel another order doh! still easy sell them on forums for £8-9 quid and make a few pennies, or £12 on Ebay :D
