Yes I recall when Bravo used to show loads of Jackie Chan and Sammo movies including the English dub of skinny Tiger. From what I've seen more recently though they have been showing original language versions.Markgway wrote:SITES will no doubt be the HKL travesty... whilst I recall Bravo screening an Eng dub of SKINNY TIGER many, many years ago...
But the OUATIC films are new to UKTV.
What's wrong with the Hong Kong legends version of snake in the Eagle's Shadow ?
I haven't seen the once Upon a Time in China sequels (the none Jet Li ones) so I'm quite looking forward to those .

When I used a similar excuse a few months back, no one bought it

MoviesforMen has shown several Korean kung fu movies, in their IFD, English dubbed, pan'scan versions. Revenge of the Drunken Master, Magnificent Natural Fist, Snake Strikes Back etc
Films24 showed The Real Bruce Lee last night. First half hour is a condensment of the Dick Randall documentary The Young Bruce Lee, showcasing clips from 4 of Bruce's childhood films, and then some (specially shot?) footage of Bruce Li recreating scenes from The Green Hornet, The Big Boss, and Fist of Fury. The Randall documentary was full frame (presumbly produced for television?) and here was awkwardly cropped to widescreen (about 2.10:1) as The Real Bruce Lee was in theatres. The last 70min or so is the Dragon Lee film Last Fist Of Fury (?), in widescreen and completely bonkers!
