I recieved:

Throne of Blood Criterion (R1)
Lost: Season 3 (R1)

I was confused at first as the slips I got with the DVDs looked like Caiman USA's ones, they even had Caiman.com on the outer packaging.
Lost S3 wasnt packaged very well however (the outer cellophane seemed torn) with some sceatches (?) on the outerbox :? They werent much but still. Cant be arsed sending it back for that.

Caiman.com own Tower.com but they're run separately, meaning separate pricing.

Just received:

An Xbox Elite! Finally!

Sadly, cant play it yet as I dont have a HD screen... but still!

A local store had a nice offer: Elite for 270 euro! (and a sticker on it that will get you 50 euros off if you send in a code)
When I went to the cashier to pay for it, it was only 250 euro! So the advertisement in the paper was wrong :D !

So now I have an Elite for 200 euro (after cash-back)!!!

Evangelion 1.0: You're (Not) Alone and Sogo Ishii Box Set Vol. 1: Punk Years

There goes this month's dvd budget (and a little more) plus a 1000 yen coupon + 5500 yen frequent shopper / affliate program points. But hey, lets look at the positive side; I'll be losing some weight this month :)

-Kanye West concert tickets

My motherboard was faulty, so I had a new one installed, along with a new CPU.

-Asus P5Q Pro - Intel P45 Express chipset
-Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 - 3.16GHz, 6MB shared L2 cache

FYI Gigabyte make unreliable, horrible quality motherboards - they're only good for fueling a fire.

I never thought you'd be a Kanye West fan.

It's amazing how much difference a good motherboard makes. I find it's by far the most important thing to get right, which means it pays to pay extra. It's oddly the last thing people think about when getting a PC. A cheap motherboard just means problems, problems, problems.

I'm not really. He is very talented though, makes good music and I bet that the show would be very entertaining.

Good cases and especially PSUs are just as under-valued, despite being quite important.

Despite my spouting off in the past, I didn't buy a quad core because they're uneconomical vs. a cheaper and significantly higher clocked dual core. Bugger all games today utilise that many cores today. GPUs tend to must of the work these days. I would've bought one if I was doing 3D work or film editing, where the extra processor power would actually be used regularly.
