US Election - who will win?

Post by grim_tales »

Did anyone see the Question time special on the US election last night? Palin seems like an idiot, they made the point that the American people didnt vote for Palin, McCain picked her, and Palin knows basically nothing, McCain changed his policy on health because Palin said something that turned out to be completely wrong :D

Here it sounds like McCain is trying to scare Americans into voting for him:

"“But the question is whether this is a man who has what it takes to protect America from Osama bin Laden, al Qaeda, and other grave threats in the world. And he has given you no reason to answer in the affirmative.”

Twat. And also his "I know how to get Bin Laden and I'm going to get him!"
Well if he's not dead, if he knows how to get Osama Sr,. why hadnt he got him already?

I think it would be better for America if Obama wins. At least he's charismatic and McCain is an old duffer. The thought of Palin in power - yikes!

Gov. Sarah Palin says Obama has ties to "ex PLO spokesman" but the PLO arent a terrorist group.

My money is Obama but you can never tell until possibly quite literally the fat lady votes.

Not long now until we can all celebrate Bush is on the way out - Woo hoo!

It will be Obama in a landslide. The election is in 5 days orso, and according to the latest polls he's well ahead, with the youth-demographic also expected to turn out bigtime (and expected to do so on election day itself, instead of now or tomorrow)

McCain is an idiot. Palin is dumb as hell. The McCain campaign has been more about Obama than Obama's own campaign(!) It's been a barrage of lies and fearmongering from the McCain camp, cause basically that's all they have to run this election on.

Obama is a smart guy. Very slick. I also feel he would be undoubtedly the best choice for the USA at this moment in time, plus he's got the financial team that also did the Clinton financial plans, so that's pretty damn smart of him, and good for the country.

I just wonder how many dead people will turn up to vote again, and how many demographic votes get lost again, or people being turned away from voting cause they're democrat.

In some states it'sstill close, and those are formerly very RED states, but are now edging towards Obama.

In the electoral vote, which is the vote that matters when it comes to getting elected, Obama is now prognosed at 330+, and McCain at 170-180 or something. You need 270 or something to win. AT least, that's what the polls showed this morning.

Unless something very unexpected happens, like Obama gets caught with his dick in a 7 year old disabled blind radical nazi midget who's a 'socialist', I dont really see McCain winning this. Which is a good thing.

Obama just needs to make sure he doesnt fuck up. McCain has to be absolutely 100% PERFECT to still have a very slight chance of winning (according to the polls). I dont seen Obama fucking up, and I dont see McCain/Palin going 5 days without yet another fuck-up.

For us America-'haters', it's a win-win situation though. If Obama wins, we can expect to see a better, more respectfull america. Foreign policy will change for the better. We win.
If McCain wins, I can see a continuation of the current policies, both foreign, as well as economic and social etc. In that case, America will just go down, and wont be a bother to us anymore. God riddance. We win! :)

Probably but I wouldn't say for sure. Elections can and do go the reverse on poll day.

I for once I also agree with the rest of your post too. Palin is a loon.

Brad agrees with me!? :? Guess that means I must be wrong then. :|

Sorry people!

:P

I honestly dont see McCain winning. Obama is way more likeable, whereas McCain is an old bitter guy who keeps going on about how he was in a vietnamese prisoncamp (after bombing innocent children and families in an unjust war) and who's only spreading lies and fear etc etc...

Many American's see that as a plus. As to the bombing of children you cannot blame the soldier per say, they're just sheep.
