Thanks for the You Tube links Romero. The Daniel one in particular is very good and surprisingly the HQ version is very good quality. You should have a read of the BBC article I posted above. She's clearly a clever cookie, with so much going on it that head of hers. So much so that one MTV journalist almost asked her to marry him
Thanks for the heads up guys. I reckon I'll buy her new album. I'll have a listen to her first album tomorrow. I suspect I wouldn't have asked if it wasn't for the distinctive album art.
Oh I see what you mean. I've been to a few gigs where the artist isn't yet big enough, so they like it but tbh for me I've no real interest in meeting the artist. I prefer listening/paying attention from a distance.romerojpg wrote:well nearly all the artists I go to see acctually want to meet their fansmany seem over the moon to talk to us.
What are you going to say? Apart from something probably stupid and come across as a right buffoon. I've certainly no interest in hanging around with a load of other fans. Still it's probably the best way to get any decent photos.
Many albums I need to listen to a few times to properly like them or not. Especially if I really loved their prior work.romerojpg wrote:Still I have only heard the second album once so far fully, and the live songs at the gig. May grow on me like the first album did
I saw that thanks but would rather save a quid and download the extra MP3 myself. £1 for one song extra is loads.gasteropod wrote:My mistake, it was from Play for £7.99 and a bonus downloadable live track, also used Quidco.
How did you guys here about her? I'm really surprised she's not getting more airplay. Maybe she is and I'm not listening to the right radio stations.
