Not being a fan of eBay you could consider Play Trade or Amazon Mark. I'm not doing too well on eBay and will give Play a go next.

Tis a piss poor DVD but you can still easily get more than £1 from eBay. After postage you'll make nothing!

Already has some interest in Robocop. But if that falls thru it's yours Romero. :D

I just want to get rid of these titles without making a loss. I'm not in it for profit. And the less hastle the better. Would rather sell to fellow forum fans and people I know.

Seriously, guys. If you see anything on this list it's only a £1 plus reasonable postage cost. There's no catch. Take this shit off my hands, please!!

How are you not making a loss? I've just been going through my DVDs. About 2 years ago it was 650, today it's 480 and I've just selected another 100 to get rid of. The trouble is I have quite a few I reckon I'll sell on but want to see before I do. Many of those 100 I've not seen and don't really have to.

I don't buy DVDs at full price so it never seems like I'm losing much to sell them off cheaply. What else can I do with them? If they don't go here it's the charity shop.

I said, eBay, Play Trade or Amazon Marketplace?

Even if you don't want to use eBay,there's always the others but yes I give mine away if they don't sell. I list them twice and if they don't sell I give them to my Dad to give to his girlfriend, who takes them to a charity shop. Like you, I cannot stand owning DVDs I no longer want.

You should be able to sell them for £2-3. £1 is giving them away.

Anyway, back on topic.

you definitely should try playtrade Mark, quite a few of those titles would build you up a nice little fund to buy some blu-rays :)

Why is Play Trade better than Amazon Market Place Salty? I'm doing okay with eBay. Listing as "Other Formats" allows postage to be added.

The problem is DVDs are worth so little now that I have to question why anyone would buy a second hand title from Play Trade etc for about the same or a little less than you get them new. To be honest £1 is probably what a lot of them are worth. I have roughly 25 titles on my list up there. Should I put up 25 seperate listings at Play Trade just to make an extra pound. I really don't need the hastle. I've had Robocop on my trade lists for a while... yet no one is interested because they all have either the Fox Definitive Ed or a Blu Ray. So it's now gone for a £1. Obviously I'd rather get a £1 than nothing... but I don't care all that much. If I was the sort who paid chart price for DVDs then I'd be pissed. Virtually all of the discs here are at least very good condition, some mint. So if you fancy something for less than the cost of rental...

Not really. New DVDs £5-8, second hand £3-5 roughly. Besides you're selling them for £1.76 ;).

I've just sold 7 DVDs on eBay and made £45 after all costs, sure I got £15 for T2 German HD-DVD but many only went for £3-4, it adds up.

Wrong avenue :). You'd definitely have sold it on eBay and probably Play Trade. You can sell UK and USA DVDs on there.

You'd be surprised what you can get on playtrade-for example i recently bought a few Harry Potter hd-dvd's from gamestation at £1.99 each and got between £6-£8 each for them.ok after play take their cut i might have only made a couple of quid a disc but it all adds up.Another example-Fist Of Fury 3,a quid at poundland, sold a few copies at a fiver each on play.when i list something i check what the lowest price is and undercut it,i figure most people will go for the lowest price listing-worked for me so far

I've just re-listed some DVDs, if they don't sell on eBay again. I'll give Play a go.
