I really want to be scared by a film again but I don't know what's up to the challenge. What are the scariest films you've ever seen? Please recommend me something. My favourite scary film has to be Ringu, it doesn't quite affect me now like it did upon first viewing, but it still creeps me out and is a solid film in its own right.
A lot of the time when I'm watching horror films that are failing to scare me, I'm just constantly thinking of ways to make my own horror film that would excel it in every way hah.

Re: Scary films
Recently I feel jaded, many films suck for scares and many of the so called best horror films just wash over me and make me chuckle at how bad they are. But one film that creeped me out and has ever since I watched it and had no gore and pretty much zero violence was Shock Waves. Very damn nasty film and pretty much freaked me out that I had never seen it when I was younger as it would have gave me nightmares for life. Nazi Zombies rock.

I hadn't heard of Shock Waves, I've just watched the trailer and conveniently the whole film is on YouTube so I'm going to watch it now, it looks pretty funny lol

Ohh it aint funny, shit scary disturbing stuff I thought
mind you watching it on Youtube may not help it scare you
in fact I would go as far as to say that would decimate any film.
