Have been on nights the past week-my building has 4 security cameras,2 static and 2 which you can move round. i had one focused on the main road outside the station,i could easily have had it looking in the opposite direction looking at the station entrance.As luck would have it, i didn't and about 2am the other morning i caught on the cctv two chav thugs beating the shit out of a lad,stealing his coat and mobile phone etc.. one in particular was putting the boot in real hard.twat. Anyway police came,took away a copy of the footage i got and have arrested the two fuckers (they identified one of them,a known thug)..makes a change to see these twats caught in the act...hopefully some nice jail time for them...

Well I have known a few people involved in fights etc.. and caught on camera, nothing was done as evidence on video is a dodgy thing sadly which sort of makes cameras pointless.

Worst thing was a nasty assault that went on for 10+ minutes, police collected the wrong tapes of it from 2 cameras, when they got around to thinking of checking the tapes 3 months later! the origanals had been wiped, well done Coppers!

Unless it is an eye wittness, it seems video evidence is crap from what I have experienced.

Still fingers crossed the little shits who did over someone for a phone and coat! die in the street very soon, we can but hope.
