300,000 PC sales if nothing at all compared to selling well over 6 Million! on the Consoles. As people cannot "Do" copies on consoles very well, they do not get pirated as much, but I can understand why PC versions may well stop in the future with dismal sales like that compared to the mighty underpowered consoles.
How exactly are they ripping anyone off? I pay the least I have ever paid for CD's nowadays, brand new CD's for what? I pay around £6 on release. If they are over inflated, then I have no idea what you want to pay.Markgway wrote:The BPI and the record companies still don't get it. I think there is nothing at all wrong with CD prices. The amount of entertainment you get from a good CD is well worth IT even a tenner (which you would be hard pushed to pay anyway). I have listened to some of my best albums many hundreds of times, that is value for money. If someone buys a shit album and sticks it on once, then maybe that is not exactly value for cash, but that is their fault for buying shit music in the first place. There is no excuse nowadays for buying any album unheard, plenty of legal sites can let you listen to all the tracks and decide if you liKe it.
It has bugger all to do wth the massive companies making millions either in my eyes, tiny artists are pirated like crazy, people who do not make much cash at all. Hence why so many now have to stop making music and get other jobs, as they cannot even get contracts and even get an album made anymore becuase of joke low sales in stores and online (but people still download their albusm like crazy). If you cannot see that I wont even go into it any more.
Still Yes the famous artists may well draw in cash for them and their owners, but you are deluded if you think that is the majority of artists out there all making millions, or even plenty to keep them going on making more music.
