Re: The General HD Releases Thread!
I'm happy with my DVDs at the moment but Shrek 2 is one of those where it's US BD for me because of the voices.

Total Recall - 20th Anniversary Special Edition BD:

Until now I was happy with my current BD - wonder if it will have all the DVD extras plus the previous transfer at least?

Presumably the stuff they intentionally left off from the 2-disc DVD.

Might pick up the Alien set, why 6 discs though?
I cant see all the extras from the 9 disc mammoth set making it on there.

Hope so, maybe as well as some new stuff, in which case I'd upgrade.Markgway wrote:Presumably the stuff they intentionally left off from the 2-disc DVD.

Unless it is the hardcore uncut unreleased ever anywhere version, it will suck ass

Better include the originals unless they want vitriol poured upon them.

Mark,
I agree but since the TC's are letterbox on DVD that would mean work for the makers remastering them and they wouldnt fancy doing that

Re: The General HD Releases Thread!
That concerns me too. Hopefully it just means "Remastered".romerojpg wrote:The Last of the Mohicans: all-new Director's Definitive Cutgod what has Mann done now
I'd settle for just a box set with "just" the first three films or better yet separate releases because I certainly don't want Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones (good enough film but no keeper). I'm happy with the 2004 cuts.Markgway wrote:Better include the originals unless they want vitriol poured upon them.
I'm sure we can guarantee it will be the Remastered 2004 cuts or maybe new cuts again! I doubt they'll ever remaster the original theatrical cuts now.
