That's what has-been directors do... keep rehashing and tampering with past glories.

Some guy on this forum ( http://forums.thedigitalfix.co.uk/forum ... p?t=592846 ) claims the uncut version was shown on ITV2 but I dont believe that. If it was I would have probably caught it.
AFAIK the uncut version has NEVER been seen, let alone on UK TV.

Can we state the film's name, when we're talking about several films. It's Total Recall you're talking about right?

I questioned him with all the right questions to get him to state even one thing, and he would not even answer one of them

and The uncut version has been seen, by the makers of the film  Arnie said he prefered the harder cut, as it was more comical. Shame he never kept the bloody thing then

You're not a fan of his digital style, it hardly makes him a "hack". McG is a hack, Mann is not. I like the look of his digital work anyway.

They should've done this the first time but if it gets a proper Remaster, I'll still get it for sure. Easy choice. I want a big HD WOW improvement though!

Mixed review for TOMBSTONE:

I had no idea that it was largely directed by Kurt Russell.

Some more Arnie on BD - Raw Deal, Red Sonja and Red Heat, but wheres True Lies? And a remastered Terminator for that matter.

Who cares, its nothing compared to his older films :D wheres a real HD release of Commando! thats what I want.

Let them take the time they need for Terminator, which could be next year yet. More time better = a quality disc.

Fair enough on Terminator but I liked True Lies, it was very good.
What's wrong with the Commando release already, is it not a good transfer?
I bet soon (for Commando's 25th Anniversary) there'll be a rerelease with all the material from the DC and extras (I have the R1).

I might bite on RAW DEAL. An underrated bit of 80s macho cheese. Will leave the others.

TRUE LIES has been passed uncut now for Fox (I guess they've retained the UK rights from Universal) but no date for any BD. I'm sure we won't see it before the US does.

The Blu Rays are not exacly perfect looking and sounding, and could easily be made better with some cash put into them and some tender love and care. And the Blu Ray is not the Directors cut and has no extras at all that were on the standard dvd special eidtion. A bit of a joke all round then for HD.

Not a true dir's cut but a version cobbled together for DVD.

They badly edited the violence back in (mind you the editing throughout the film is awful so it fits).

Commando is an early Fox MPEG2 BD, so in others words, it should've been much better. The same goes for the original Predator BD. Commando has no extras and is the TC too.
