Never cared much for him as an actor (and as a person he didn't seem like a very nice guy either), but obviously always sad to see someone die of this terrible disease.

I only saw the sniffing scene in Blue Velvet, but TBH, I thought he was overacting a bit. Outrageous OTT roles seem to get a lot of credit usually, but personally I never really cared for these, as often they seem 'more easy' to play than the roles which convey true emotion and all that.

Few could do OTT as well as Hopper though, he will be missed. His wonderfully bonkers performance in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 pretty much single-handedly rescues the film for me.

I know :D. I won't though. I've no plans to watch patch Series 1, maybe Series 2. There's no American TV shows I watch religiously.

I've had Series 1 for years, watched the first 3 episodes ages ago and have just come back to it.

Erm, you will find out. Why would you not want to watch past season 1?

I don't get into TV shows religiously, especially yanks one, they're so long. I just cannot see myself buying 8 box sets. There's also the high cost too. I'll probably buy series 2 though.

Most TV shows follow a formula also, so once I've seen 1-2 series, I get the idea. It is bloody good though. I've also got a couple of other TV shows to watch, already bought. Like Twin Peaks, which I've not seen for years.

You could get seasons 1-6 for £5 each a while back (and still can if you look about) if thats to high, you stick to overpriced Blu Rays.

How come, you only ever post bargains, after the deal is over? I wonder why . . .

I'd never buy 6 seasons, even if they were a quid each. It's taken me this long to watch series 1 :D (and I've only managed 5 episodes so far of that).

Perfect time to really get into 24. Trust me, if you watch to the end of season 2, you won't want to stop there.

I'm with romerojpg on this, in my opinion not one of them is bad. Season 6 wasn't quite up to the standard of the rest but even so, it was still better than anything else on TV. Season 7 was awesome, and Season 8 has just finished with a bang. Why waste your time watching one or two seasons of multiple shows? Watch it all.

Thanks. I'd be surprised if they can keep a show "great" for 6-7 seasons .That's almost unheard of but fair enough.

Hardly. It's just fair, if you come across a bargain you let others know. Salty does it, I've done it, you don't. Simple.

I frankly wouldn't mind but it pisses people off, you constantly gloat after the deal is over. What's the point then?
