$35.49 canadian = £22.30 surely? I've never seen any reasonably priced product at PlayUSA, do they end these special prices after 24hrs and ramp things back up to £20+ or something?
You do realise when you use the "change currency" option at playusa it comes out at £15.99?? i've just checked and it's still that price.
i'm surprised you say you've never found any reasonably priced stuff on there,if you can accept canadian covers they are often far cheaper than other region 1 sellers. The Sanctuary season 1 & 2 blu-ray sets i got for my brother recently for example were £17.99 each, around £7-£8 cheaper than anywhere else.

LOL do they employ a 5yr old with one of those number lines to do the currency conversion? No wonder I've always thought PLAYUSA was a rip off sight if they're adding £6/$10 to their Canadian prices (which has always been the default display for me)!

Me too. It's bollocks. I always prefer to let my bank convert. That is, until November, when Nationwide will be following suit and charging for non-Sterling payments . I'm pretty sure then, it'll be better to pay the Amazon converted price.

It always defaults to Canadian, you need to remember to switch each time. Oddly it doesn't store this in a cookie.
It's been confirmed the newly released Robin Hood/Gladiator double pack contains the remastered version of Gladiator. i'm still waiting for my replacement disc sent a couple of weeks ago. There is also reports of people sending the usa version in and getting the new version in exchange no problem.
Salty. Do you have the contact details for the replacement programme? I was going to re-buy and sell my old one on eBay but I cannot be bothered. That's good to hear people living in the UK but with the USA disc, can still exchange. That's me.
Universal (which holds the UK rights to the movie) is also setting up an exchange program, and is sending the following instructions: "If you wish to exchange your original DVNR (digital video noise reduction) feature disc we ask that you send us just your disc 1 in an envelope with your name and address enclosed. Please keep your original packaging and we will post you out a new disc 1."
Disc 1 should be mailed to the following address:
Universal Pictures (UK) Ltd
'Gladiator Exchange'
Prospect House
80-110 New Oxford Street
London
WC1A 1HB
"'Please note new discs will not be available in the UK for approximately one month. We will ship disc back to any country as long as they were purchased from a UK retailer.'"
