Hmmm... today today.... WHAT have I received today..... hmmm... let me think....
OW YEAH THAT's IT! My BRAND NEW AMD AThlon 64 3200+ with 1024 Memory and 256mb graphics card!!! That was it!
... but apart from that.... nothing! -sniff-

Anyway, it just arrived and is still packed on my bed as I'll have to finish some copying of files to my external HD yet, as well as clean this fucking dump of a room I'm in....
But hopefully I'll have everything up and running this afternoon, and hopefully photoshop will be installed with no problems as I need it before tomorrow...
Gawd I hate having to install shit, especially if it has protections and cracks etc to deal with...

Are you serious!? And waste thousands of bucks on some software? No way man... It's way to expensive and that's because they know that most people that need it, can write it of their taxes, or it's being paid fo by their boss or whatever...IronMonkey wrote:LOL! Just buy a legal copy then!Yi-Long wrote:Gawd I hate having to install shit, especially if it has protections and cracks etc to deal with...
I'll stick with the illegal shit when it comes to this kinda software, and waste my money on legal dvds and games

BTW, got my PC installed, but I'm not totally satisfied...
- For starters, I can't get my sound to work. It's not a problem with the speakers, as I've also attached my older speakers which were still good, and they don't give any sound either. SO must be something with the soundcard or whatever...
- The PC didnt come with a powercord (!)
, so used my old one.
- The manual came in German (!)
- My old monitor is showing some slight disturbance, so maybe the videocard is just too powerfull for this old monitor, or it's getting some interference from something or whatever...
Anyway, it seems to be a mediaplayer as well, as it comes with a remotecontrol and lots of cables I have no clue as to what they are... so that could be cool if I would actually get the sound working, plus figure out what to do with all those extra cables and shit...

1. Make sure the speakers are at least 30 centimeters away from the monitor. My old monitor is showing some slight disturbance
2. Make sure the video cable doesn't touch any other cable. Video cables are quite sensitive.
1. Do you have the classic Windows XP speaker icon in the tray (bottom right) ?I can't get my sound to work.
2. Did you properly install the drivers ?
P.S: let's continue this discussion on your PC thread.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Also today I got:
Musa the Warrior (PA International cut) from CD WOW rentals
and a letter saying I've been granted an interview for a HR Modern Apprenticeship job (or something)
Basically I get on the job training and make some money at the same time
