I read about that a while ago:
I found a way to disable this: go straight to the credits, and when the popup comes up, hit the x and disable it, then use chapter search to go back to the start, and it will not popup when it get to the end. A lame workaround but it works when you show the movie for friends.

Since when did 13 year old kids have the attention span to read credits?
I doubt it has anything to do with 'attention span'. It has more to do with 'really don't give a shit'.
Yi-Long wrote:It's very simple. When you buy a MOVIE, be it on DVD or BR or whatever, there shouldn't be crap that detracts from that movie.
Agreed but then I never disagreed to start with.
Yeah, that usually helps... ;)

About the workaround: Download a HD-rip and enjoy the movie without all the unwanted crap. If Disney doesn't like it, they shouldn't annoy their customers with this kinda BS.

I have Un Prophete on DVD, and there are like 5 or 6 pre-movie trailers for other movies on there (Dutch release btw), which can't be skipped. It's just ridiculous. If I'm gonna recommend this movie to a friend, I'll also recommend them to download a proper rip instead of buying the DVD.

You meant the 'You wouldn't steal a car' adverts...

...and actually, if my bought car started preaching to me each and every time I started it, and a stolen car wouldn't do that, than hell yeah, I WOULD steal a car...

That's it - those ads. The irony is IF I downloaded a movie (not saying I would BTW) I wouldnt have to put up with that shit.

Since the emergence of those adverts I've started bag snatching and car boosting and I pirate shit I don't even intend to watch just to piss them off.

Back in the day, most downloaded legal music had DRM, making it regularly a nightmare to copy to many MP3 Players. Guess what! Illegal downloaded mp3s never have.

Cool. I wonder why it took so long. It was supposed to come shortly after the DVD SE. I do so, so hope they original mono or stereo remix is included. The DD5.1 is okay I suppose but it really doesn't add anything and can be distracting. The original single disc (worse PQ) has a stereo remix but the SE only DD5.1.

Interesting news. I hope it gets a UK release. I'm so there. Sony already remastered it once for the DVD SE.
