It was a non sequiter (sp?) I grant you.
I enjoyed 48 Hours, it was good fun.

Re. 48 Hrs.

Disappointing to hear about the subpar PQ given how long this title was postponed.
No original stereo track either.
...and the cover art is typical Paramount shit.
Couldn't they have at least flipped the image so that Nick Nolte is no longer a black man?

Huh?

I suspect they're not expecting "too many" sales, so spent minimal effort on it.

The Cable Guy is better than its initial drubbing suggested but not up to the classic tag it's been given in retrospect. The potential was there for a deliciously dark comedy but Stiller fails to direct Carrey to his best ability and makes far too many misjudgements - but it is interesting which isn't something you can't say about most Judd Apatow movies.

:D I enjoyed it. Carrey in goofy/rubber face mode but darker and blacker humour.

I'm a huge Carrey fan, but I've never cared for The Cable Guy.

Ben Stiller is always awful. His parents should have him aborted. I know it's a bit late, but still....

It's not Carrey's best film - Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine probably are :) I do like Ace Ventura though and The Mask (havent seen The Mask in years though). Very funny :D
Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty were pretty funny.
Cameron Diaz - ca. The Mask -

I hate Cameron Diaz from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't stand her even back when I still kinda cared about caucasian beasts (that was hellava long time ago). Now I refuse to watch any movie starring her.

Nah, still hot (it's called getting older) and I don't rarely find blondes hot. She looked incredible in The Mask.

Carrey, Stiller and Sandler 99% of the time pick such rubbish roles. Why do American comedies often have to be so lazy? Sandler was excellent in Punch, Drunk, Love but otherwise he's awful, awful, awful.

p.s - It's well established Hung you have no taste in women :D. Caucasian beasts? WTF! Your Mum's Caucasian (I presume). Caucasian is such a dumb American word (just like African American). It's White and Black. You'll never hear someone in The UK using such pointless words.

Because they make money at the box office?what's your theory?
bradavon wrote: Sandler was excellent in Punch, Drunk, Love but otherwise he's awful, awful, awful.
Punch Drunk Love is boring, give me Wedding Singer & Happy Gilmore any day.How many awful Sandler films have you seen or is this another "9 out of 10 people" said so guess?
bradavon wrote:You'll never hear someone in The UK using such pointless words.
Yeah instead you get dickhead Bitish people using pointless words like "Simples" using a buzzword from a fucking toy Merkat.
