Hmm, I wonder if the UK BD of Boogie Nights is the same as the US one, at least now it's Warner rather than EiV...

think the later EIV New Line releases were direct ports of the USA editions

*edit* found this quote over at dvdforums regarding Boogie Nights "It has the US piracy warnings so looks like a direct port. The specs also match those from dvdbeaver."

Is the UK blu-ray of Ip Man ok, or did they fuck up the colours?

Colours are less saturated than the Universe disc.

There was a comparison kicking around.

Thanks. I won't be picking it up then. Gawd, they just can't do asian movies any justice, it seems.

I believe the UK disc uses the same print as the Well Go (or vice versa)

Comp should give you an idea of the difference.

Screencaps from the UK disc:

Scary prices for the Korean ones lately, I have upgraded most of mine over my old Korean editions, cannot pass on a fiver.

Tale Of Two Sisters (Blu-Ray) is under £4 now thats a cracker, even if the transfer is far from perfect its as good as the dvd was. The dvd costs more!

Anyone passing that up is a cracker
