But there's some controversy about the black and white scenes because they have a lot less detail/definition than the last BD release.
The Chronoloigical cut isnt on there - is it on the UK BD? :?

On the USA BD apparently not.
Well Romero sometimes I'm not quite sure of the story so maybe watching it in order would make more sense :)

Fantastic but where's Part 2? Both are essential purchases. Part 3 is just awful, awful PG-13 awful.

Paramount missed a trick by not issuing a box set (no doubt that'll come later once everyone has bought the single release(s))

BHC3 isn't PG-13. Contains a fair amount of strong language.

Re. Lethal Weapon Collection.

The packaging/case I received is a bit wider than the ones I saw on shelves in HMV (which looked like a regular single case). Mine is more the size of two cases, so although the discs are still awkwardly cramped, it's perhaps not as bad as I thought it would be.

Fair amount of extras/docs but Warners missed a trick by not including Mel's hilarious (from memory) video diaries for Parts 2 and 3. Especially strange since Richard Donner mentions their inclusion on one of his (vague) commentaries. I hope they don't turn out to be a USA exclusive.

Agreed except BHC3 is so awful I'd prefer separate releases. As BHC3 is so hated (by Murphy too), maybe Paramount knew this and aren't releasing a box set. I own all 3 on DVD but only part 3 because the box set was under a tenner.

I wasn't really being literal, just more the feel of the film. It feels very family friendly. I've possibly only seen a TV edit. Thanks though.

Next year. They're waiting so they can brand it 25th Anniversary.

I haven't seen it in ages. Enjoyed it at the cinema though.

I know what you mean what with the theme park setting and generally light tone. Would've been a PG-13 without the swearing. I know that the first film had a load more 'fucks' than either 2 or 3.

Now that would be interesting if it was the longer Chinese cut that never came out with Chinese dialogue/subs and more fights...

I'd be surprised if you would now. I wouldn't really care but the first two are just so good.

The sequel is more of a comedy. I love both equally.
