Well the pattern is something Britain designed especially for Afghanistan, this means it's not ment to be warehoused after the Afghanistan operation. All the jackets and trousers that have this pattern will be destroyed when the operation ends (probably a political decision). This makes them real high value collectables. The second reason is that no modern army sells the stuff they use right now for civilians.
