Guy Fawks Night

Post by BiscLimpkit »

Cool so yeah, you guys seeing any fireworks tonight? (In more ways than one, if you know what I'm talkin about - eh Grim? Hohohoho!).

I live out in the country and it's a clear night, so I can see a lot of fireworks from all around our house.

When I was in Glasgow, the display at the Green was quite smart. Lasted 30 mins.

Supposedly there's some Fireworks festival in Tokyo that lasts 2 hours.

Conversely there is the downside that neds/chavs will most likely cause trouble. Luckily in the countryside, there are no neds firing rockets off our windows.

I wish Guy would Fawkes off. I hate Bonfire night. You get every cock in the area setting off rockets at all hours. Frightening pets and old people. I wish they would blow themselves up. (The bangers not pets and old people...)

Was that cruel?

I hope so... :D

:D

Went to a display last night - OK I suppose, but we only saw 20-30 minutes (it was organised by a youth group or something - my local leisure centre's display) - the view was shite - and I got fed up of "Are we all here?" every 5 minutes. But I guess thats the way with groups like that. They're not bad people otherwise :)

I agree sort of Mark - I could hear fireworks going off near my house past midnight

I went to a party in Manchester last night, got a bit lost on the way! What should've been a 90 minute or so journey turned out to take 3.5 hours!

We got completely lost, stuck down hole, in some fog, with an owl! :)

But we got there at about 8:30, the party had just started and it nobody left until about 7am!

So I'm a bit tired tonight! I think I'll be having an early night for once!
