Big Boss was on tv here today....Maybe this was why?

Wonder how good his follow up movies would have been if he had not died?

Would he have become even more famous?

What would he be doing if he was still alive??

Life can be so cruel taking away such a great person from us. It says it all really I wasn't born for another 5 years after Bruce died.

Many people are still finding out how he was decades after he died.

Considering how much potential he was showing at the time I'm guessing they would've been outstanding.

Definitely

Another question I often wonder about is whether Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung (or maybe even other stars) would have been as successful, had Bruce Lee not died.

It's really hard to say. In Asia I'd say so but probably/maybe not in the west.

So what are the chances that we MAY have had a Sammo/Jackie/Yuen Biao movie directed by Bruce Lee?

You could go mad thinking of all the possibilities....

Maybe he would have eventually worked with MANY of the iconic HK movie figures...

Or maybehe would have gone to the States permanently, and now we wouldnt have crappy movies like MATRIX/Charlies Angels etc, because people would KNOW to expect more....

Or Maybe RUSH HOUR 5 -Chris Tucker vs Bruce Lee..How long would Tucker last?

I think Jackie, Sammo and Biao would still have been very famous, cause Bruce was already using them a bit in their movies, and Sammo was also already very involved with filmmaking and taking up directing at the time Bruce died. Plus personality-wise both Sammo and Jackie have big egoes who would want to express themselfs in their own way.

Would have been cool to have seen a proper Bruce and 3 yuens movie though...

But Bruce would have been the same kind of legend that he is today, if he would still be alive? I kinda doubt it. He would still be good ofcourse, but perhaps the audience would have grown tire of him, or he would have retired.

The Matrix is very good Big guy, but its just a sci-fi film with martial arts in it. I dont think you can compare it to the great HK films just because it has MA in it,
Havent seen Charlies Angels though.

Yeah Grim...I have seen the MATRIX movies...I was talking about the crappy wirework in them,...If Bruce had continued, maybe we would never have had the emergence of so much rip offs of HK movies..because they would be made so popular by Brucey Baby!!!

Oh...and if you liked the MATRIX trilogy...I recently got a copy of
MATRIX-DEZIONIZED..

Which is a FAN editing together of the last 2 movies..minus all the plot holes and philosophizing...the total runnning time is aroun 2hr 40..and it plays a HELL of a lot beeter without all the Zion shit in it....

Drop me a PM if you want to know more....
