LD,
Yes thats right. My mum might also want it to use the "Listen Again" service for radio.
When I started downloading it said Realplayer was free, but I still had to register my e-mail and bollocks like that :?

Cool. I'll wait and see what the UK SE out in late Jan/early Feb is like before I commit to a purchase.

BTW The Eraserhead remaster and "Short Films of David Lynch" DVDs are now/will be soon available for affordable sums of cash since they're seeing general release. I'll get Eraserhead in January probably, I won't bother with the Short Films though.

Hey EvaUnit02

My guess is it will be the same port as the french one, the french edition does have english menu and also english extras - albeit with french subtitles.
Yeah i've seen Eraserhead being on general sales, but didn't know about the shorts films. I haven't seen either films, what are they like? Have you seen them?

Kind Regards

I saw that for the first time on telly a couple weeks ago, it was pretty sucky IMO. WTF happened to you Verhoeven? I'd love to see the deleted scene where Rhona Mitra's gorgeous titties get fondled though! :D

Ok.... just came back from amsterdam. Really should have done some Xmas shopping for other people, but fuck them.
Instead, I bought myself:

- Calvin And Hobbes; the complete collection, or whatever it's called. I already have most of the comics, but this collection is on great quality paper, and has big, thick, expensive covers, so hopefully they will last a lifetime :D
It was 90 euro, which is pretty expensive, but my girl has offered to pay if I buy San Andreas for myself, so she doesnt have to buy me (she doesnt like giving me videogames and dvds, probably cause she doesnt love me or whatever. She prefers buying me clothes I dont really like, or a ring or necklace/chain (whatever it's called) I won't wear...

- Bought a big-ass book about Kurasawa and Mifune, called the wold and the emperor or something. It was on sale for only 10 bucks... read a little bit in the train on the way home... seems like a good book.

- Since I was in amsterdam for a schoolproject about heineken (visited the museum), I also bought a book about that company...
Not really interesting to tell here, but dont wanna keep info from all you guys ;)

I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

It's a Kitamura movie.
Kinda like Versus, but with dozens of giant monsters beating the shit out of each other. :D
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Sounds cool :D Should I see it if I havent seen any Godzilla movies? :) (I liked Versus BTW, thought it was good).
Does the DVD have English subs?

I think Yi is being a bit harsh in his post about presents, isnt it the thought that counts at Christmas time? :)

I have only seen the american Godzilla and I really enjoyed Final Wars.
Still, there are loads of references to classic japanese monsters that I didn't get.

The R1 does.

Thankyou :)
You know that old American/Japanese kids show Power Rangers and its variants (Masked Raider, VR Troopers etc :) ? The "battle" scenes are like old Japanese monster movies (same sort of style) :D
