Great game, 'Pool were 3-1 down and are now leading 4-3

Its' funny to hear the (Liverpool) fans singing to Luton what sounds like "3-1 and you F*ck it up" to the tune of Go West by the Pet Shop Boys

yep what a cracker alonso's 60 yarder at the end

luton gave it a good go and fair play to them but in the end we had a bit to much quality. it's rare you see a game where all 8 goals are crackers,not a tap-in amongst them.

You really do have to hand it to Luton they played very well and if you think about all the teams we have played in the last 12 or so games. How many have been such a clear threat to our defence? None. To be fair you could see Luton scoring more. anyway as was said above the quality shone through in the end.

Has anybody heard any confirmation on any players we are bringing in during the transfer window?

agger seems pretty certain,highly rated danish international from brondby. we've also just bought a new young keeper from mk dons.

I think we also got a young right winger in a swap deal for a young midfielder named Welsh.

I know they keep going on about Simbosa (spelling?) from Benfica who plays on the right wing but we were supposed to land him in August before the deal fell throughout the last minute.
