Swordfish Dolby 5.1 + opening = wowowowow!

Cool, just watched Swordfish for the first time and yeah... the opening explosion just blew me away (pardon the pun).

The surround effects are incredible. I'm away to watch the opening again (this time with friends).

Aside from the sound, it was filmed quite convincingly IMO. I just thought it was a fantastic scene... probably the greatest movie explosion ever.

Film rocks too.

Well at the time it looked cool, but now the sequence looks poor as them tricks of the camera just dont age well at all, but hey its a fun film and I like it

The opening is great, the rest is average IMO. I never got why it was so popular.

The film never was popular thats why, it didnt set the box office alight

it got lame reviews and bad word of mouth and didnt set and records.

Its a fun mindless action film and it knows it and hey I dont mind that at all, but some people do and just dont like films like it, there loss I guess.

What are you babbling about it was very popular. I don't know how much money it made but everyone who saw it seemed to love it.

There was that Halle Un-erotic Berry breasts shot too which I'm sure helped. What a load of nothing!

as you just admitted you dont know the figures, why say that?

I know these things and know about the film, it didnt set box office alight and people on the whole didnt like it, reviews panned it mostly and it was forgotten very quickly, it made some cash for Warner but it didnt exactly make much.

The million $ for Halle Showing her breasts was the main attraction for most people, not me as she isnt exactly nice it was basically adviertised on the front of Halles tits! that was the whole advertising campaign! which was ridiculous! they made total tits of themselves making that the selling point of the film.

.If anything it was ok and got on the whole 3 or even 2 star reviews. I loved it myself (well from what I remember as it isnt exactly memorable as I ahve only seen it 2 times).

I think you're right Romero, I cant find truly accurate figures either but according to IMDB it didnt even make its' cost back in the US ($69m gross v $80m estimated budget).

I meant from the general public. Donnie Darko didn't make money but is now very, very popular.

Halle Berry is gorgeous but the tits out seen was dumbed, okay so her tits are out, big deal? (she was just lying in the sun) She looked far sexier and erotic in a later scene in her underwear.

OK fair enough Brad, you are right DD didnt make much money at the cinema but is now a real cult/sleeper hit as word of mouth was so good.
