Havent seen any of those movies :P I thought Zu Warriors (the first one) was average though.
I've heard BR 2 is shit, in some ways I dont want to tarnish my memory of the excellent, powerful first film.

Haha at your list, Tom, it's hard to believe you're being serious! ;) But each to their own!

Mine is something like (in NO order):

Memento
Magnolia
The 'burbs
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Being John Malkovich
Blue Velvet
Lost Highway
Mulholland Dr.
Fight Club
Amelie

I must one of the few to think that Romero has a good taste in films. As mentally unstable as the guy may be, I can usually count on him to recommend a good movie.

Now Tom... he truly loves the films we all hate. The only one I liked from his list is Binchunmoo.

Hmmm... My top ten would definately include

-Days of Being Wild at #1
-Fist of Legend
-Drunken Master 2
-Hard Boiled
-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
-My Sassy Girl
-Out of Sight/Ocean's 11
-Once upon a time in the West
-Goodfellas
-Yojimbo

Not in that particular order, but always Days of being Wild at #1.
But I guess it's something that's constantly changing, and I could just as well have put 36th chamber of Shaolin in there, or WKW's Ashes of Time.

There are so goddamn many great movies out there, that by no means I would call this my 'definite top 10 list'

Memento - Overrated, but intriguing from what I remember
Magnolia - Overlong, but I recall preferring this to Boogie Nights.
The 'burbs - This I approve of! :D
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Not seen.
Being John Malkovich - Annoyingly smug and plain weird for the sake of it.
Blue Velvet - Not seen
Lost Highway - Not seen
Mulholland Dr. - Not seen (you have a hard-on for Lynch??)
Fight Club - Moronic, pointless exercize in nihilism.
Amelie - Not seen.

Days of Being Wild - Very good; WKW's best film.
Fist of Legend - Good remake, but not as much as the original.
Drunken Master 2 - Jackie's second best Kung Fu film.
Hard Boiled - Classic bloodshed.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Not seen (two recent votes -- maybe I should?)
My Sassy Girl -- Not seen.
Out of Sight/Ocean's 11 -- Didn't click with Out of Sight; not seen O11.
Once upon a time in the West - Very good western.
Goodfellas - Well-made, but distancing; I prefer Casino.
Yojimbo - Thought it was dull when I saw it as a kid... might feel differnt now?

Can we class series of films as one choice (for instance, I would say that The Godfather trilogy is much more like one film than, say, the Alien films are)? I just don't want three films with the same story taking up one slot. :D

Dude... this is just a forum. We're not the goverment going over your tax-report ;)
You want a series of films as one choice, you go ahead.
Hell... you can even make a top 11, top 12 or whatever ;)

And it's a good job too, as my taxes aren't in the best of conditions :D

Right, now that that's sorted, I'm gonna have to compile that list. This is going to be tricky...
