WOW nice find. How do you know it's in store too?

I already own this but it's bugged me I stupidly decided to keep my second hand copy, it's a bit battered. Battered digi-pack even slightly really sticks out. I'll probably upgrade.

I didn't even know Woolworths had a website.

I popped into the Melksham, Wiltshire branch on my way home and they only had the 1 disc version for £4.99.

I'd upgrade for £3.99 but not £5.49 (including postage).

I am not sure if I will bother as the films only ok and the extras dont sound any good to me for 3 dvds. If I see it I may give it a go I guess :)

Yep £5.49 is a decent price.

The film is excellent, edge of your seat stuff but yes the extras while being lengthy aren't that interesting. Still better than the bare-bones version.

Cheapest otherwise is £5.99 at Blah DVD:

Huh? Miscast???

Jodie Foster is an excellent actor, one of the best female actors working today (great boobies too  ).

Miscast. Forest Whitaker, Jared Leto, it just didnt sit well with me and Jodie just doesnt seem like a star anymore and all her films blend into one, she hasnt made a great film for a long, long time as they all seem so simlilar and she acts exactly the same every film. Contact was the best she made, but even that now feels a little farmiliar.

Check out "A Very long Engagement" Romero, she's very different in that. She doesn't play the main role but a decent sized role.

How on earth does she look the same in Inside Man (which I've not seen) compared with Panic Room. They're completely different types of characters.

Well I think she's a very good actress.

Are you guys listening? :D Check out "Very Long Engagement".

Flight plan looked very below Foster's talents, seen it all before.

How is "A Very long Engagement", Brad? My older sister's seen it and she says it's just like Amelie but with war bits. I have a bootleg around here which I borrowed from my brother, may watch it once my mid-semester break starts.

Very good. It's kind of like Amelie in it's style but it's a bigger film and the tone is different.

It still has over the top colours but as the setting is War it's a stronger story than Amelie. I prefer Amelie over all but both are very good. It could only be made in France, no other country has it's sensibility.

The stories more complicated I was a bit confused in places, reading subs didn't help (usually it's not a problem but was at times in this).

No I wouldn't say it's Amelie but with war bits. I can see why your sister thought so: it's the same director and same lead.

I always thought was Jodie Foster was quite fetching (once she become an adult of course). Eg the bar scene in Nell. :D

Also the replacement Clarise in Hannibal, Julianne Moore is also quite nice and an excellent actress IMO.

Running around with her boobies jumping all over the place in Panic Room is a must see.

True. Foster played a better Clarise, her husky voice is well sexy.
