Happy Chocolate Egg Day!

Post by grim_tales »

:D
As the title says... ;) Or: Happy Easter! :D

How do you say "Happy Easter" in France? I'm sure Easter is "Des Paques" (sp?) or something like that.
There goes my bad/rusty French :P

Joyeuses Pâques, Grim.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Nope. Pâques is a feminine word. So it's "Joyeuses".
De rien, mon gars. :D

Gah.. wrong again :D
How come its "gars" if you're only referring to one person?

Because the "s" is just a part of the word. It doesn't mean it's plural.
Just like "Fils" can mean both "son" and "sons".

Anyway, let's close the dictionary. Happy Easter everyone. :D

Happy Easter everyone.

With the title of the thread I thought that Grim might've been trying to be a PC dickhead, but he mentions Easter in the first post so that's cool.

Ah easter.... the day we celebrate the death of Jesus Christ ...

BTW, who else just waits a week with their easter eggs buying, just so they'll be for sale at dump-price, so you can buy more!? :)

Yi, you cheap %£#... ! :D

My girlfriend has planted chocolate eggs in my garden this morning.
She wanted to know why I had planted shrimp in my backyard last night (it's for my cats) :D

Tom: you should leave the chocolate eggs burried in yard. Next year: Chocolate-egg trees! :D

Grim: I didnt get ANY chocolate eggs! But it's ok cause I know my girl is going to use her egg-budget next week, when they're on sale, so it just means MUCH more eggs! :D
For me, Easter and Xmas always come one week late. Growing up 'poor' (western poor) does that for ya :D

Tom: why the hell DID you plant shrimp in your yard for your cats? Do they prefer dirt on their food? What kind of sick, twisted animal-hating frenchie are you!?!?

:D

It is indeed. Christ was crucified on Good Friday.
