OKOK... as some of you might know, I am working at the Deutsche Welle, an international news broadcaster from Germany. We have over 30 language sections and I have been working in the German/English section for Europe since the beginning of May.
My current project is called: "Youth and Money - What do European youngsters spend their money on?"
OK, I know that most of you here spend their money on DVDs, but aside from them, what do you spend your money on.
For all non-European B'n'B-members, no offence, you can comment and let us know about your money-spending habbits, but I can't include them into my project as it is a European thing.
As well as DVDs, I spend mine on CDs, nights out, and food. Oh and also I bought all my stuff like, widescreen, DVD players, surround sound systems, PSP and games, etc.

1. Car/Petrol - Petrol's expensive - Up until February when I bought my first car this would've been way down the list. I know spend 10 times what I used to on Petrol (£4.50, now £45 a shot)
2. Food
3. DVDs
4. CDs
5. Beer
6. Holidays/Electronics/Splurges

Why? Do you broadcast in over 30 languages?

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

LOL . I'll be 30 in 3 years not 2.
In some ways yes (I don't take life seriously at all sometimes) but in some ways no (I feel more mature than most of my mates, they are a bit younger than me though).
I dont, but I know that many Youths waste their cash on Drugs, be it legal Fags and Alcohol.
or soft illegal drugs and harder drugs. The latest figures in the UK sugest that harder drugs are all over the place and schools are full of them, apprently according to the latest survey 1 in 3 children between 11 and 16 have tried crack!
I just guess they are either full of shit lying kids, or loosers.
I spend mine on going out, food, DVDs etc but I also have to pay to go into town and stuff (bus ride). I also paid for my HC cinema set up, though I dont work yet I have a bank account and don't buy much else TBH.
You seem really against it. Sure most Brits drink to much but a beer every now and again in a pub can be really enjoyable. I'm a very light drinker.
You talk about drink as if it's evil.
p.s - Oops Rent too. Put that after Food but before DVDs. Working it out Petrol is by far my highest spend.
It would be interesting to hear from anyone who lives on their own/Not with their parents. I suspect most here live at Home. I'm planning to move out next year and no doubt my DVD spending will plummet.
He goes away for 2 months and what does he say when he comes back ?
"Beer".
*Sigh*

It would be interesting to hear some of the Ladies of Bullets? I bet clothes will feature much higher. Like most gents I virtually never buy clothes. I usually have a splurge once a year around sales time.

What you never buy food?

Fair enough. I wouldn't go as far to say it's a waste of time though.
