-Jump by Van Halen.
-99 Red Balloons by Nena (never heard of it).
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

You were born in 1984 then.

Hast Du etwas Zeit für mich,
Dann sing ich Dir ein Liebelied,
Von Neunundneunzig Luftballons,
Auf Ihrem Weg zum Horizont.

Nena IS German. Still living, man! She dubbed the witch for the German language version of "Spirited Away".

UK - "Mighty Quinn" by Manfred Mann  Good lord, I'm old.

US - "Love is Blue" by Paul Mauriat. Hmm, not too exciting, but perhaps appropriate that it was a hit by a man who composed some film scores and whose songs were included in countless film soundtracks.

Apparently, Xanadu was the very first song I ever danced to when I was a baby. I had to hold onto a chair, but my ickle legs moved. I bet I was cute. :D

Nothing wrong with Billy Joel. Talented singer-songwriter.

So Mark, does Oliva Newton John still put the boogie in you? ;)

I'll bet it was darn cute. I'll always remember my oldest dancing to Sheryl Crowe as a baby. *sniff* :)

Didn't have camcorders back when I was a tot. Kids today are so lucky they can see themselves on film. All we have are vague memories. Shit, I'm getting misty eyed.

Oliva was a nice-looking woman, but a bit old for me at the time. These days I try not to dance to Xanadu. Though when it comes on... I do feel my legs twitch. 8)

So many kids on the internet these days! :D

You’re So Vain - Carly Simon
Long Haired Lover From Liverpool - Little Jimmy Osmond

Though of more importance was the King attending the stage...
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
